Going back to school doesn’t have to be scary! One of the things that everyone looks forward to when returning to school in the fall are new school supplies. It can make you feel special and stand out in the classroom when you have the right supplies. Going back to school may seem like a distant memory for some but everyone remembers the feeling of having their #1 school accessory with them on that first day. Read below to see what the CWMP team has to say about their favorite back to school accessory.

Don – Mine would be a new shirt and pair of pants for the first day of school.

Leslie – For my grandsons it would be their backpacks. For me it would have been my favorite new skirt that my mother sewed for me, and it had to be the color red --- yes I wore skirts to school! 😊

Hailey – My favorite back to school accessory was a new pencil case, new pens and new crayons. In elementary school, it was a huge thing for my classmates and I to trade “special” colors of crayons so stocking up on crayons was a necessary school accessory.

Autumn – I had to have the best "trapper keeper" and the best-looking backpack! I also had to have my "first day of school" outfit picked out weeks in advance!!

Jennifer – I always wanted a Lisa Frank spiral bound notebook. To me, that was the epitome of cool.
