Cornerstone Ruminations
Cornerstone's Fathers
The importance of a father can't be neglected or ignored. He is like a superhero who is always ready to take on everyday troubles for his children. The significance of a father is beyond words, as he worked tirelessly to fulfil the requirements of his family. To honor the contribution of all such fathers and fatherly figures the Cornerstone team has gathered our favorite things about our fathers.
DON RICH
Father’s name – Albert E. Rich
My dad liked to fish in the smaller streams in the mountains in Central Montana. We would often go fishing on Sunday after church with a light lunch packed by my mother.
LESLIE RICH
Father’s name – Ollie D. Smail
My father was a quiet man. He didn’t speak very often so when he did speak you knew that you should be listening. His words were often spoken softly but were profound and should be listened to. You would benefit from the knowledge of his words.
HAILEY JACKSON
Father’s name – John David Jackson
My favorite thing about my father is the way that we can talk and laugh about any and everything.
DEE ABERNATHY
Father’s name – John
My favorite thing about my dad is that he is always positive and joyful. He taught me that as soon as we wake up, we must find joy in the day. He always said you will live a longer life if you are positive and look at anything negative the same way we see ants on the ground (TINY).
BRITTANY MARTIN
Father’s name – Brendan
My dad is extremely intelligent and has taught me so much about life! He is also a big jokester and always knows how to cheer me up.
