Our Favorite Emoji

They first started out as emoticons. Popular in chatrooms, adding a :) or ;-) at the end of your chat allows you to invoke sarcasm or share ambivalence. Emojis were created in 1999 by a Japanese artist. When the iPhone announced a new keyboard dedicated to emojis, the whole world was obsessed with using them. This keyboard addition allowed people to access emojis directly from a keyboard on their iPhone or Android. Emojis were used as another form of communication and shortened messages. They were considerably popular within the younger crowd but soon enough, everyone was hooked on using emojis when messaging. As the emoji became more popular, they also became more plentiful. Read below to see what the CWMP team has to say about their favorite emoji.
