Our Favorite Part of Fall

Summer can be a hard season to follow, but fall never disappoints. The change of the weather also brings changes in food, colors and climate. Fall has a different meaning to everyone weather that be the start of a new football season, a new recipe for the holidays or the return to school. There is so much to appreciate during this season of change! Albert Camus says, “Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.”
Don – Football, hunting, needing to wear a sweater or jacket at night due to the cooler evenings. September is my favorite month of the year.
Leslie – The beautiful fall colors of the leaves turning colors, fall flowers in red, orange, yellow… the crunching of leaves on the ground when you walk thru the grass.
Hailey – My favorite thing that comes with Fall would be all the delicious food. I love soups, chilis, apple pie, pumpkin pie, just all the yummy fall flavors.
Autumn – The crisp fall air that hits your face in the mornings along with the "fall smell". I also love apple picking, pumpkin patches, going to fall festivals, and now that I have a little one, I love Halloween so we can enjoy watching her dress up and get candy :).
Jennifer – I have 2 favorite parts of fall. 1. Football returning. 2. Mosquitoes leaving!
